In 1980 Patricia Stelz graduated with top honors from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in horticulture.  That same year she and her husband, Robert, started Stelz Nursery, Inc. with one greenhouse and a plan to offer locally grown bedding plants to garden centers and landscapers in south Louisiana.   Stelz Nursery, Inc. has grown from that one greenhouse to over 30 greenhouses offering a wide array of annuals, perennials, herbs, hanging baskets and vegetable plants to south Louisiana and Mississippi.   Stelz Nursery prides itself in growing quality plant material at a reasonable cost. We can deliver for free (delivery minimums apply) to your garden center or, for landscapers, directly to the jobsite.   We also offer custom growing for landscapers who require large quantities of plants for specific times of the year.
